Intro to the Hebrew Aleph-Bet

We had the joy of teaching this class at The Ridge Church on a beautiful Saturday morning in August. Join us as we study the Hebrew Aleph-Bet and learn the hidden treasures of this amazing language. We look at each letter, it's equivalent number, and the ancient Paleo version of Hebrew. Hebrew was originally written in a pictographic version, much like Egyptian hieroglyphics. By analyzing the original Paleo Hebrew, we can discover exciting layers of meaning in the Hebrew words.

Sunday morning's teaching "The Mystery of the Aleph Tav"

The Mystery of the Aleph-Tav continues our teaching on the Paleo Hebrew by digging into the meaning of the Aleph-Tav. Just after Jesus was resurrected, he met three disciples walking on the road to Emmaus.  "And beginning with Moses and all the prophets, He expounded unto them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself."

What was it that Jesus was explaining to them? We may get a clue as to what things He was teaching by understanding the Mystery of the Aleph-Tav.
