Part One
Join us in this "live" Torah discussion of Parashah 40: Balak (the Destroyer). This Torah portion discusses the story of Balaam, the sorcerer who is hired by Balak to curse the people of Israel. We look at the Messianic meaning of his donkey who talks, the warning against mixing our faith with sorcery and divination, and the four prophecies that Balaam spoke over the people of Israel.

Part Two
Parashah 40: Balak (Destroyer) continued. In this second part of our Torah study, we look at the prophetic meaning of the four prophecies that Balaam spoke over the people of Israel - including the very first prophecy of the Messiah. We also discuss the judgment of Pinchas over the people who are engaging in ritual prostitution with Midianite and Moabite women.
